Commemorations ran from before dawn until well after the sun set across Cape York and the Torres Strait for Anzac Day on Friday.
From attending dawn services and marches to a game of two-up standing shoulder to shoulder with past and present military personnel, residents of Queensland’s far north made sure the memory of the Anzac sacrifice was not forgotten on 25 April.
