A GROWING aviation business has added a new chopper to its fleet.
Heartland Helicopters, based out of Weipa Camping Ground, took delivery of its new Bell 206L Longranger, which can seat up to six passengers.
Director and pilot Bevan Duke hopes it will become a hit with tourists looking for scenic flights, while he already has commercial bookings throughout the year.
Partner Brooke Quartermaine has already nicknamed the new addition “Buttercup”.
Bookings for Heartland Helicopters can be made through the Weipa Camping Ground.
